The experience I had with Royal Alaskan Movers couldn't have been better. I had to coordinate from out of state, never met anyone with the company and everything they told me was absolutely true (costs, move date, picking up items from different sources, storage of items). When the furniture was delivered, it was wrapped an packed just like Rod said it would be and seeing it was better than I expected. They unloaded the truck fast and carefully. Recently, my wife and I made our retirement move from Anchorage AK to Goodyear AZ. We decided in advance to ship only the items we absolutely loved. Based on our past experience we took out the max insurance just to be sure we would be covered "when" our goods arrived damaged. Remarkably, everything arrived intact with no and we mean "NO DAMAGE NOT EVEN AS MUCH AS A SCRATCH" on anything! Dishes, keepsake furniture and wall hanging, tools, glassware & fragile items.
