Richard DeWitt becomes the 2nd member of his family to be inducted into the International Association of Movers prestigious Hall of Honor. One of four to be honored in 2011, Mr. DeWitt is recognized both for his continued dedicated service and his various contributions to the Association and the moving industry.
Richard’s father, Woody Dewitt, was the first in his family to be inducted into the IAM’s prestigious Hall of Honor. Woody DeWitt was a pioneer in the international and domestic moving and storage business, and his legacy in the industry has continued through 4 generations of family.
What began in 1927 as a company with one truck and two men, has now grown to service GSA, military, corporate, and COD household goods relocations to and from anywhere in the world.
